Bristol Mini & Cooper Club

Hi,

I am part of a PTA for a new school just opened in Portishead (near Bristol). 

We are taking part in the local carnival for the first time this year and the children and parents have chosen the theme '50 Years of the Mini'.... Im sure you will agree a great choice!

We plan to have all the kids dressed up as cars, mechanics etc but would really really love to try and get a brand new mini and a classic 1959 mini to form part of our 'float'.

I was wondering if anyone had a 1959 (or close!) mini which they would be happy to come along on the day with and drive with the children?  It would be for about an hour on Saturday 20th June.

Can anyone help? It is all for charity!!

I'm not sure anyone has a mini that age in the club.  I do have a set of number plates BMC 95A circa 1960, I can lend to someone on the day.
